Walker

A Walker is the term used for an official member of the Ordanist Religion. Walkers are the lowest member of the official hierarchy for management in the religion, and the most common. A Walkers responsibilities include managing and organising weekly pilgrimages for local followers, community outreach and teaching of the rules of guidance. They are considered the face of the church, managing the teachings and practices at a local community level.

The name 'walker' is derived from the most important role of managing pilgrimages and expeditions. Most of the practice of an Ordan takes place in Anderand, in preparation for an eventual Pilgrimage in Olderand. Walkers will lead a procession through the wilderness in Anderand and perform activities such as chanting, singing and somber reflection. Official pilgrimages take place weekly, and will often include an entire days trek and potential manual labour in the form of Shrine building. Walkers are responsible for ensuring these activities take place and that questions the procession might have about the religion are answered.
