Ordanist Shrine

In Ordanism, shrines are built to honour the force of Natural Order. Shrines are constructed by Pilgrims while in Olderand and Anderand to focus the mind on impermanence, natural objects and manual labour. When a shrine is built, it is always built from loose rocks, simple pieces of wood and similar materials. Shrines are always built from natural items, and are never built to last too long.

The act of shrine building is supposed to re-enforce a person's connection with the world. Often tribute items made by hand will be left along with the shrine, such as pots, sculptures and jewelry. A shrine will be built by a group of Ordanists often under the leadership of a Walker.

Often, Ordanists will plant Prayer Scrolls at the base of a shrine. These scrolls will contain simple words of good wishes or veneration towards a certain thing. They will often be made of different coloured fabric and decorate the sides of shrines or the nearby ground.
