Ordanism

Ordanism, officially known as The Spire of the Older Way is the largest religion in The World. It focuses particularly on Natural Order and the island of Olderand, which is considered to be the birthplace of all Human life. The religion holds great influence over the upkeep and maintenance of Olderand, while also managing influence over who may visit the island. A member of the religion is known as an Ordan, with the name originating from another word for Natural Order: Ordo. The religion is lead by The First Spire, a figure of great reverence, and also political influence, who is greatly aligned with the Natural Order.

Having originated in the year 600, the religion gradually developed into a large political force. It was founded after the re-discovery of The Older Spire by a group of travellers in Olderand. It is said that this group slept at the base of the spire, and had such visions in their sleep that they felt compelled to immediately spread knowledge of the structure. The first Shrine was built at the foot of the spire by this group.

Ordans believe that balance between human needs and the need of the natural world is important. For this reason, Olderand is held in high regard, as it is seen as the perfect example of Natural Order.
