Older Spire

The Older Spire is the name of the ancient monolith found in Olderand. Made from a white and hard stone, the monolith is a towering figure which reaches towards the sky. Held as the greatest symbol in the Ordan religion, the re-discovery of the spire by The First Pilgrimage was the founding moment of the religion.

In contrast to its grand stature, the spire is known for being particularly hard to find, due to the effects of Sleep Sickness and Natural Order. Many Pilgrims will search for the spire their entire lives without finding it. Part of the mystique of the spire is the fact that it is so disproportionately hard to find compared to other landmarks in Olderand. This fact alone has lead to much speculation about the true nature of the spire.

At the base of the Spire is The First Shrine. This was the first Ordanist Shrine ever built, and it is decorated by Prayer Scrolls from each of the pilgrims who have visited.
