Assembly Of The Olderand Accord

The Assembly of the Olderand Accord, generally referred to as The Assembly, is a political assembly of the major powers in Anderand which is responsible for administering the island of Olderand. Established in The early years, before many of the kingdoms of Anderand converted to Ordanism, The Olderand Accord set out rules for access to Olderand, calming political tensions that had been building at the time. The Assembly is responsible for maintaining The Accord, as well as administering its rules on a day-to-day basis.

The Olderand Accord lays out guidelines for the total number of annual visiters to Olderand, allowances for the various kingdoms to intervene, and a gurantee that no particular ruler can ever own Olderand. It was designed to give the island protection from exploitation, and ensure that it never became too built up.

The Assembly is the main body responsible for issuing Permits to access Olderand. Without a permit there can be no official way to reach the island, however smuggling still remains common.
